Black Sea coast and Danube Delta Tour

Day 1 Departure from hotel in Bucharest to Constanta, the main port on the Black Sea Coast and one of the oldest cities in the region, founded around 600 BC. After arrival, Constanta city tour with Ovid Square, Archeology Museum  and Tomis Harbor.

Afternoon: visit the ancient fortress of Histria, founded by Milesian settlers in order to facilitate trade with the native Getae.

Accomodation in Tulcea, the gate to Danube Delta.

Day 2 Trip to Danube Delta by shared boat with optional fish lunch. We will visit many canals and lakes where we will have the chance to see local fauna: egrets, cormorants, pelikans and flora: white and yellow waterlilies, depending on the season. We will stop in Mila 23, the fishermen’s village located in the middle of the Delta where we will have the opportunity to taste traditional fish meal.

Accomodation in Tulcea

Day 3 Morning: In Tulcea we will visit the Ethnographical Museum and Danube Delta Ecotourism Museum. After visits, head back to Bucharest.

The tour ends at the hotel in Bucharest.
